The People We Help
A large share of our clients live or work in Temple Terrace, University, Tampa and Carrollwood, and many more are in Brandon, Mango and East Lake-Orient Park. We also work with people in Thonotosassa, Egypt Lake-Leto, Lake Magdalene and Lutz. Since phone and video meetings work just as well as sitting down together, how far you live from us seldom matters. Talking from your own kitchen is as useful as visiting our office.
We handle every client the same way, no matter the town. We break each plan down the way you might compare two building materials: what goes into it, where it is strong and where it costs you. A smaller premium tends to bring a bigger deductible, and a wider network tends to raise the monthly bill. We spell out those trade-offs simply and leave the choice to you. Our review is free, since the carrier you select pays us and you do not.
What Shapes Coverage Across the Area
- 01
How plans are priced
Marketplace premiums in Florida depend on your age, the county where you live, tobacco use and the plan level you pick. Two neighbors with different birthdays can see very different prices for the same plan. We show you the full monthly cost and the deductible together, so the cheaper-looking option does not hide a larger bill later.
- 02
Doctor and hospital networks
Many people here live in one town and work in another, so the network matters. A plan with strong options near where you live may be thinner near your office or your child's school. Before you enroll, we check whether the doctors, hospitals and pharmacies you already use are in network.
- 03
Open enrollment and timing
Open enrollment for marketplace plans generally runs from November 1 through January 15. Outside that window you usually need a qualifying life event, such as a move, a new baby, marriage or losing job-based coverage. If you are not sure whether a change in your life opens a special enrollment period, we can talk it through with you.
- 04
Storm season and paperwork
Summer storms are part of life in Florida. Keep a digital copy of your member cards and plan documents, and ask how your plan handles care if you have to leave the area for a while. We point out those details when we review a plan with you.
